Travel Information

If you are coming to New Zealand from overseas I would recommend flying into Queenstown, picking up a rental car and traveling to Twizel from there. The approximate travel time from Queenstown to Twizel is 2 hours 45 minutes. A second option is to fly into Christchurch and travel to Twizel from there. The approximate travel time from Christchurch to Twizel is 3 hours 30 minutes.

Cancellation Policy

• Bookings are confirmed with a 30% non-refundable deposit of the total fee within 7 days of the booking being made and the remaining balance is required to be paid 30 days from the booked day. While no refund will be given for cancellations your deposit is transferable to another date within the current fishing season. This is strictly subject to availability and rebooking must be made 30 days via email or a phone call.

• Fishing dates are exclusively for your group. Changes caused by third-party scheduling conflicts may not be accommodated due to limited availability during the peak season.

  Travel Insurance:

  We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation, medical coverage, and weather-related disruptions. As a small, pre-booked guiding operation, we are unable to offer refunds outside of the terms of our cancellation policy. Travel insurance helps protect your booking investment should unexpected circumstances arise.
